Chelsea Ríos Gómez

Chelsea Ríos Gómez (they/them/elle) is originally from pixley, ca - located on the ancestral land of the Yokuts. They are in their final year of a Master’s in the Environment & Community Program. Coming from a long lineage of campesinos from zacatecas, méxico - located on ancestral lands of the Zacatecatl peoples - they bring a transnational perspective to their research, focusing on vivencias campesinas Indígenas. Their work emphasizes campesinos as knowledge holders and creators of future worlds. They dream of being able to facilitate the sharing of knowledge outside white western academic frameworks. They are especially interested in alternative ways of knowledge knowing and knowledge holding. They are also interested in intersectional forms of accessibility within knowledge sharing spaces.
