The Rou Dalagurr Food Sovereignty Lab & TEK Institute is accepting interns for the Kelp Guardians Sea Grant!

This is an opportunity for both Graduate and Undergraduate students to plan, implement and assist Tribal Nations with Food Soveriegnty, TEK, Indigenous Science and interdisciplinary community based projects surrounding Kelp restoration and resilience.

$2,500-$5,000 Project Budget

$1,000 Award

Volunteer at Sunken Seaweed with FSL

Join the Rou Dalagurr Food Sovereignty Lab for Monthly volunteer days at Sunken Seaweed!

Sunken Seaweed is a commercial land-based seaweed farm, as well as a kelp hatchery and nursery on the peninsula of Wigi (Humboldt Bay). Their mission is to increase marine biodiversity, reverse climate change effects, and promote new, healthy relationship between people and seafood.
