Alexandra Mojado

Biography: 

Alexandra N. Mojado is a citizen of the Cherokee Nation and a direct descendent of the Pala Band of Mission Indians. She graduated from Cal Poly Pomona in 2012 with a B.A. in Gender, Ethnicity, and Multicultural Studies with a concentration in Native American Studies. In 2015, she earned her M.A. in American Indian Studies from UCLA and entered into law school. Prior to graduating in 2017, she was able to sit for the February Arizona Bar and passed. She then accepted the position of Associate Attorney in the Office of the Tribal Attorney for the Hoopa Valley Tribe, where she worked until June 2020. In June 2020, she accepted a position with the Yurok Tribe's Office of Tribal Attorney as Associate General Counsel. As Associate General Counsel, she provides legal support to the Yurok Tribe, Tribal Council, and various Tribal departments and entities.

She is the proud mother of three girls (10, 4, 1) and a newborn boy. When she is not working, she enjoys playing fast pitch softball, cheering for her daughter at various sporting events, and spending time with her family in Southern California.
