Please join us for the Rou Dalagurr Food Sovereignty Lab Film Series Events
The Native American Studies Department is happy to celebrate Native American Heritage Month with the Rou Dalagurr Food Sovereignty Lab and Traditional Ecological Knowledges Institute's Fall 2024 Film Series! Throughout the month of November, you can join us for film screenings and guest visitors! These will be outdoor screenings (with heatlamps) so please bring your own chair and blankets! We will have snacks, drinks. Keep a look out for event specific posts in the coming weeks!

with Featured Guest: Apache Director Lonnie Anderson
We’re thrilled to welcome Lonnie Anderson, an inspiring and award winning artist, filmmaker, and dear friend to our community. Lonnie has a heart for connection, having visited Humboldt in the past and bringing joy to incarcerated youth at juvenile hall in partnership with Project Rebound. Lonnie is an Apache artist based out of Albuquerque, New Mexico and we hope you join us when he joins us as guest speaker for a special double feature movie night with an outdoor screening of his works LOVE IN THE VALLEY and IN.DIG.E.NOUS EC.O.NOM.ICS next Thursday at Wiyot Plaza (weather permitting). We will have heat lamps, please bring your camp chairs and blankets! Alternatively, we will screen the films inside the Native American Forum!
